I’m so hot! I siad complaining to Olivia. We were sitting waiting for it to be our turn at our dress rehearsal. Finnaly it was our turn but the one before us was a really good so I couldn’t see it!when I got on stage it went so quick. I also performed in singing group but we were very quiet. We also in singing group people with solos got to stand on tables around the audience.

Durring the atul show was boring before we got up. My favirot bit was probably the very start. I wasn’t felling never or scared I just felt normal because I perform a lot with singing group.

after the show we took our chairs back to our classrooms and our parents had to come and pick us up but my brother did. We went to go find my dad and my sister and the got a icecream.

“ Ready go” a year six called out. I saw Flynn running inside of our rocket. He jumped out and gave to Eden but I coundn’t see her because she disappeared into a swarm of people. Next thing I see is Oliver.M coming  but he threw it down tripped on it then it snapped in half so I was running with no back half.

We we’re doing it to raise money for the RACV energy breakthrough team. The RACV team drive HPV human powered viechle around lots of places like the latest time they have driven it they went from Gisborne to Melborne to Gisborne to Melborne to Gisborne again and back to Melborne. They derived for egight hours straight non stop.

When we built our car we learnt about Circumfernce,radius and diameter. The circumfernce is the size of the circle going around and the radius it half the size of the circle. like if you put a dot in the middle of the circle it’s the size of that dot till the edge of the circle. The other thing is the diameter. It’s like the radius but its all the way through the middle of the circle. We also learnt some cool hacks of how to draw a perfect shape.

We also sort of practiced team work and how to work together because we needed to work together and build a functional car or rocket in our case.

Over all we came third out of all the year fours and I was really happy about that because I  always come last.

 

 

 

Coach Approach

 This morning I couldnt wait for Coach Aproach.we had Coach Aproach and had a blast. We did Ulitimate Frisbee with Clare, AFL with Matt,Hip Hop with Elvic, Base Ball with Oliver, Team works with Taylah and la crosse with Brayden.

In Ultimate Frisbee I learnt three things Wip it  flick it and point it. Wip it means to like Wip in in the wind but let it go. Point it means to aim and flick it means to flick your wrist. I allso learnt to catch it like a crockadile. Me and Olivia got seven catches in the wind.

In AFL I atchly learnt that Matt was Mr Goodyear’s son and I liked trying to get it in the bins.

In base ball with Oliver we only did one thing that was having a compatiion to see the last man standing in trying to catch it.

In team work with Taylah was we needed two things  copatation and cumunication. We did a maze  but  Taylah could only show us the way for 5 seconds but my team lost. We also had to get into tallest to smallest with out talking.

In Hip Hop I really liked elvic  but the dance was really hard. What I liked is that we had a dance battle sort of thing.

la crosse we had lots of companions but me and Jess always lost. I learnt how to scoop it up and it was called the shovel.

over all today in all of them had something special in all of them.

Super Digital Citizen

We are learning and being a good digital citizen and it means to act safe,respectful and responsable.

Most of people’s  super heros powers are killing viruses but my super heros power was to make people not put all thier details with her mind.

One of the things you could do to be a digital citizen you have to be kind so don’t cyber bulling.

Cr Helen Radnedge

 

What the councillor came to do here and why?

Today councillor Helen Radnedge came in to talk to us about having a say and making a change because that’s what her jobs about. She started being a councillor in October 2016 but has already done so much for the environment

Like on a clean up day one of her friends came to d saw a flower and it turned out that it was an endangered flower but now because of her it’s not endangered any more. Also her friend that came and saw the tree found so many Aboriginal history artefacts

Also she cares for the wild life and she has a friend and she rescued so many cockatoo that she calls them and they come to her.

She’s has always carded for the environment and that’s what she became a councillor because of her worries for the environment and so she wanted to have a

Something I learnt that there’s nine councillors in the ward so when they vote on something
there can be a odd and a even number.

A tip she gave me to make a change is to actually do something instead of just sitting back and doing nothing.

The Magic Flute

Today we had the Magic Flute and it was awesome and the best porformance I have ever seen. At 10.00 we went down to the Gym and watched the performance and all the singers were so high pitched but that’s because their opera singers and it was a opera play.Sarasro  his voice was so deep and he wasn’t even making a voice! The Magic Flute  is about Tamino a prince saving the princes patina. The whole play was very musical and and had lots of magic in it.

Kathryn Aple

Kathryn Aple came to visit yesterday because she just published a new book. She also gave us some tips for writing. She’s a Aussie author but she also writes poetry in her books. She lives on a farm but she hates cows but she wrote a book about her pet cow this is the mud! Something I  learnt and would do next time is to write some poetry  in some my books.
